Due to all that is happening currently and the uncertainty, we feel it’s best to cancel the Hike for Hounds this year. It's a major event for the rescue and a lot of work goes in to ensuring every detail is perfect. Unfortunately, we are unsure where COVID-19 will stand in early May.

Don’t worry though, we will start planning our 2021 hike soon and we have other events happening later this year. Why Hike?

CFP prides ourselves in taking in often very expensive medical dogs, the pups most overlooked because we believe ALL dogs deserve a chance. Hike for Hounds helps to sponsor those dogs’ extra medical expenses.

Since the 2019 Hike almost 20% of all dogs we brought into the rescue had various issues including major medical, heartworm positive, seniors and many more with different issues. The care for these dogs can cost anywhere from $500-$5,000 and our adoption fee stays the same. Your sponsorship helps us to continue taking in the toughest cases. Two of our medical pups made it on The Dodo this year, it was an honor to be able to showcase the work we do with a globally known media outlet!

Why Sponsor?

We have many sponsorships options available. This is a great advertisement for your company, not only is your company listed on this site, you can offer a coupon or free product and drive people to your website and you will be on both the Hike social media page and CFP’s main Facebook (which has 16,000 followers!). Why Donate to the Raffle?

Leading up to the Hike CFP will be hosting an online raffle. As with the sponsorships, your product/ business will be advertised many, times on all platforms. The online raffles have been very successful in the past! Please consider donating an item, gift certificate or service and the offer does not have to be dog related.
